First up is the ECAC section. Pittsburgh has the event record, 1:35.19, from 1999. Virginia built a big lead early and won in 1:36.00. Results are posted here.
In the Championship of America, Texas A&M will take another shot at LSU. A&M ran a blazing 1:30.96 in Friday’s heats.
LSU led for the first three legs, but Texas A&M came flying out of the final exchange and powered on to win in 1:31.21 — the 5th best time in meet history. LSU was second in 1:31.77. Results are posted here.

The Penn Relays are the largest annual track and field meet in the United States and the largest annual relay meet in the world. Over the course of three days, 19,000 athletes from all levels will race in front of 115,000 spectators. The 2010 Penn Relays will be from April 22-24.
