After dropping the baton at the final exchange, Texas A&M’s Tabarie Henry made a valiant effort to close the gap, splitting 46.06 and and nearly pulling off an epic comeback. Alas, he ran out of track and Mississippi State held on for the win, 3:04.92–3:05.04.

  1. i know that feeling of droping the baton in relay, that happening to me back in ’03 in the 4×100 2leg. and then had to come back in the race.. you do run faster..
