Sarah Pease of Indiana outlasts Claire Michel of Oregon, winning the College Women’s Steeplechase.  Pease won the Drake Relays steeple last year – and now has a Penn Relays championship as well.  Certainly a very interesting double !

Angel Piccirillo (Homer Center, PA) and Emily Lipari (Roslyn Heights, NY) won the HSG Mile and 3K respectively. Lipari’s time of 9:34 moved her into the Top 10.

Liz Costello of Princeton won the college women’s 3000-meter run championship in 9:35.01. The 5000 championship went to Costello’s freshman teammate, Ashley Higginson, in 16:22.56. With three laps to go, Addie Bracy (unattached) and Linsday Sundell (Florida) are sharing the lead, with Princeton’s Megan Brandeland close behind.
